Scammers prey on panic, curiosity, and lack of awareness. Memorize these simple rules to safeguard your bank accounts and digital profiles:
Never share your One-Time Password (OTP) with anyone on phone calls. Bank managers or delivery services never require OTPs to process orders.
You enter your UPI PIN only to SEND money or check balance. To RECEIVE money, you NEVER need to scan a QR code or enter your PIN.
If someone claims a relative met with an accident or has been arrested, verify directly through official police phone lines first.
If you have been scammed of money, dial **1930** immediately. Reporting within the first 1-2 hours allows cyber cells to freeze the transaction in transit.
